At the undergraduate level, it is our objective to furnish our students with a solid education to equip them to think clearly, logically, and originally when they design creative solutions for solving challenging interdisciplinary problems that lie at the interface of society, technology, and the environment...

At the graduate level, our goal is to foster a stimulating academic environment that encourages students and faculty to cooperatively carry out seminal, high quality research that significantly extends the frontiers of systems methodology, associated techniques and interdisciplinary applications.
